J: Today, I welcome Claire Bussière. What is your role?
C: I’m a relationship manager in the Wealth Management Services team. I look after clients who are families, individuals or legal entities. I advise them in managing their wealth, as well as transmission matters. But also in areas such as philanthropy and many varied investments.
J: What is a typical day for you?
C: I check to see if there were any operations in our clients' portfolios the day before. I always try to talk to clients as much as possible. We need to maintain a permanent dialogue to understand their concerns and how we can support them.
There is much interaction between Relationship Managers in my team and with all the other experts, in tax, asset management, etc. to refine our proposals.
It's very challenging because the objectives are extremely ambitious and the competition is tough.
J: Claire, you had mobility opportunities within the group?
C: It was very important for me to find this new opportunity, to go beyond my comfort zone. With help from Group Human Resources, I managed to find this new challenge in a different business line: Wealth Management.
I have three children, one of them with a few problems and I think that there is a real understanding of the challenges facing working mums of all ages. I think I have benefited from all the flexibility I need.
